Perfect Homemade “GARLIC FRIES”

FRIES!! They are just yummy and one of my favorite foods. I can’t resist them. Whether they are from a fast food take away or from a restaurant, they are an all-time favorite food. I’m pretty much sure that almost everyone loves to have them with all types of foods.

These garlic fries would satisfy your cravings in more healthy and tasteful way. Golden brown in color, they are so soft inside and crispy outside. If you give them a final toss with chopped parsley, they would be just a real French fun.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 large baking potatoes, peeled or scrubbed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
  • 2 tablespoon olive or canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Cooking spray or canola or olive oil

Cooking directions:

First of all, preheat the oven to 450°F. Take a small frying pan, heat the olive oil and add minced garlic for 2 minutes. Strain the garlic from the oil through a strainer and reserve both, the oil and the garlic. Take fresh potatoes, wash and peel them, slice them like thick matchsticks of ¼ inches. Take a large bowl and mix together the potatoes, oil and Pink Salt. Coat a baking sheet with oil or cooking spray and spread the potatoes on it in a single layer. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until getting golden brown, or based on the thickness of your potato slices. Carefully transfer them to a serving bowl or dish using a spatula. At the end, sprinkle the chopped parsley, the reserved garlic, and the Himalayan Pink Salt according to your taste. Serve them immediately if you want the real crispiness. Eat with tomato or chili garlic sauce to have a spicy flavor.

Happy eating!!
